Web services form the basis for the next generation of distributed, interoperable applications that use a service-oriented architecture. After taking this course, the student will be able to write Java programs that use SOAP, the Web Services Description Language (WSDL) and the Universal Description, Discovery and Integration (UDDI) protocol.
